HEY Credit Union wins Treating Customers Fairly Champion at the Consumer Credit Awards 2025

HEY Credit Union is proud to announce that we have been named Treating Customers Fairly Champion at the Smart Money People Consumer Credit Awards 2025!

Smart Money People is the UK’s most comprehensive customer review platform for financial products and services, helping thousands of people make smarter financial decisions through real customer feedback.

We were also recognised for our commitment to fairness in 2021 (the only other time we've entered the Awards) when we scooped the same award, which shows it is a standard we have upheld over the years. This award reflects the ongoing mission of HEY Credit Union - to provide fair, friendly, and ethical financial services that support the wellbeing of our members. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to vote for us (with close to 1,000 votes!) and share their feedback, and to Smart Money People for running the Awards. 

Alongside winning this award, we were also proud to reach the Finalist stage in three additional categories: Customer Service Champion, Best Credit Union (North), Best Credit Union Loan Provider.
