Here at HEY Credit Union we recognise the contribution that Key Workers are making to our nation not only in current conditions but always.

To provide some extra help in these difficult times, for a limited period we've introduced a Key Worker Loan with preferential rates.

  • A preferential loan rate of 1% per month (12.7% APR)
  • Max. repayment term 36 months

  • Interest charged on the outstanding balance only

This product is not available for debt consolidation.

 

Representative examples 

A loan repaid over 3 years (12.7% APR). Borrow:

£1,500 – pay back £50 per month (Total to repay £1,792.31)

£3,000 – pay back £100 per month (Total to repay £3,584.62)

£4,500 – pay back £150 per month (Total to repay £5,376.93)

 

How to apply

You can apply for a Key Worker Loan online or over the telephone.

You'll need to be currently in employment as a key worker listed on the Government website, registered on the voters roll and have your own current account.

Step 1: Prepare proof of your income.  Non-members must also prepare two or three acceptable items of identificationYou'll need to scan and upload these documents when prompted - we cannot acknowledge your application without them.
